Hi, I'm Troy Fontaine and I'm a technology buff.

Troy Fontaine is a technology enthusiast with an innate ability to quickly understand and master applications and technologies. Now that the third person talk is out of the way, I would describe myself as an "early adopter", I love to learn about emerging technologies and determine how to take advantage of the new options that they may bring to everyday problems that I see around me. I am a strong advocate for self-development. Much of what I have learned about technology was through using the internet and hands-on experience. Truly gaining steam in 2001, I began diving into building computers from off the shelf parts and learning through forums and heavy usage of Google about the variety of "behaviors" that computer's and their components exhibit. I am a strong believer that there is much to be gained from giving back to the community and have worked in a variety of capacities through volunteering and advocacy to push for the adoption of technology to help community organizations better understand the tools that exist. This allows them to better serve their target audiences while permitting further development of existing employees and resources.
